Applications are now being accepted for the 2009 Forest Stewardship Award
Every year, in an attempt to promote stewardship of hardwood forests, NHLA recognizes excellence in the utilization of hardwood forest resources and good forestry practices with the Forest Stewardship Award.The deadline for submission is August 31, 2009.

2011 Rules change proposals for review
A special assembly of the NHLA Rules Committee met on May 20, 2009 to decide which rules change proposals should be placed on the ballot for a vote later this year.
